For over three decades the Toronto Classical Singers have been delighting Toronto audiences with sparkling performances of the great choral works from the past 300 years. Join us in celebrating the enduring beauty of our choral tradition!
What a Great Season!
Our first season with Artistic Director John Holland has come to a close, and we’re very pleased. On April 19 we performed Dvorak’s Mass in D and Mozart’s Vesperae Solennes de Confessore – and Dvorak’s Psalm 149, performed with a full orchestra for the first time ever in North America. It’s a real rouser that brought the sell-out audience to its feet!
We are very grateful for our audience, who are always so supportive and enthusiastic, and for the Toronto Classical Players, who performed at their usual level of excellence.
Now we look ahead to our 2026-27 season – but first, the Toronto Classical Singers will take part in Luminato’s Ode to Joy. We’re joining dozens of Toronto choirs in a performance of the fourth movement of Beethoven’s “Choral” Ninth Symphony. Be there at Sankofa Square on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 7:30 pm as a city sings together! Keep an eye on Facebook and Instagram for the latest update.
We’re always looking for new members. Do you love to sing the great choral works of the past 300 years? Do you like fellowship and fun? Then audition with us! Contact us at members@torontoclassicalsingers.ca – please put “Audition” in the Subject line. We look forward to singing with you!
